In regards to my tutoring work, I have primarily worked with students from the first grade and up to high school seniors. I have been tutoring students for over four years now, and I have learned that tutoring is a creative and collaborative discovery process in education. I feel it is a privilege as an educator to be part of this process. I want to use my abilities as a tutor to awaken within my students a love of learning, curiosity, and self-improvement. My subject of strength is in Mathematics, and I can tutor you in courses ranging from Elementary Math to advanced high school-level Math topics like Trigonometry. I am well experienced in the study of Mathematics. I got my BS in Mathematics, and with full summa cum laude honors, from Tufts University. I have taught Science courses and violin lessons at two community education programs that service youth.I love music. I am a violin player and instructor who enjoys practicing and performing classical music for my friends. I study music academically too, and have an undergraduate degree in Violin Performance from the New England Conservatory of Music. In my free time I am learning to play and master the accordion.
