I graduated from St. Olaf college in 2010 with a degree in Mathematics and Religion with a 3.88 GPA. I graduated with Honors and continue to hold myself and my students to incredibly high standards. I have take Masters Degree classes through Stanford and currently work as a manager of Math Teachers.
Experience
I have extensive experience as a tutor and a teacher. I spent six years teaching high school math, and coaching K-12 math and science teachers. As an educator, I specialize in boosting motivation, test taking techniques, and confidence in an encouraging environment. I strive to give my students opportunities to use their intuition in math, build confidence, and see math in real experiences. I taught Math at Booker T. Washington and led students to drastic growth in Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2, and upper level courses. My students grew between 2 and 7 years of math understanding in 8 months. I am originally from Minnesota and now reside in Coral Gables.
