Experience
Teaching is one of my biggest passions in life. I love being able to help eager students expand their classroom knowledge and gain a better understanding of complex and challenging material. I believe that a great teacher isn't just someone who helps students memorize definitions and prepare for tests, but also teaches them in a way where they can apply their knowledge in real-life situations outside of the classroom. To help students learn how to do this, I like to create lessons in a way that pupils can relate to. Along with the bachelor's degrees in psychology and counseling, I also received my master's in mental health counseling. Along with working in a leadership role as a counselor, I've also had the opportunity to teach students of different ages. More than anything, I love being able to use my own skills and experiences to help people overcome challenges and grow personally and professionally. Aside from psychology, some of my other favorite subjects to tutor are English, writing, geography, and religious studies. When I'm not working one-on-one with students, I like to spend my time singing, playing the piano, and listening to music. My favorite genres to play and listen to are soul, R&B, and indie music.
