I attended the Art Institute of Chicago for my master of fine arts, and it was there that I began tutoring. Since that time I've helped many students achieve their goals. I have two writing degrees, and I love the discipline, but I also enjoy many other subjects. I believe all students can reach their goals in education despite any challenges they may have. I also believe that students who take charge of their education can achieve anything. My students have been successful because I encourage them to develop their voice and become confident in their abilities. It's never easy, but I am determined and patient, and I am rewarded when the student is rewarded with success. In my free time, I like to write, paint, draw, practice photography, watch films, cook, and read.
