I am currently working on my bachelor's degree at Florida International University, majoring in Sociology and minoring in Education. I have already earned an associate's degree in Sociology from Miami Dade College. I love working with children. My experience includes two years volunteering in childcare and tutoring special-needs children, and I am honored by being able to work together with the parents and child. My tutoring subjects include reading and phonics, writing skills and essays, grammar, psychology, philosophy, sociology, world religions, and general social studies subjects.I am a trustworthy person as shown by my careful judgment and aptitude for making the right decisions. As a tutor, I strive to encourage a thirst for knowledge. My personal philosophy is that the best way to seek knowledge is to continue to be in awe of the natural world, like a child. I spend as much time as I can in nature. Some of my favorite things to do are camping, kayaking, and enjoying the beach. I am also passionate about animals. At home, I dote over my kitten Zelda and feed worms to my baby Red-Eared Slider. My other favorite pastime is reading comic books, especially Saga, Supergod, and Kingdom Come.
