I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Florida Bible College with a degree in Education.This degree was later validated at Nova South Eastern University. While there, I also took graduate courses in Elementary Education.
Experience
As a certified Florida teacher I have many years of experience in teaching and tutoring in elementary school, middle school and high school. I have taught all subjects in elementary school: second through sixth grades. I have worked with kindergarten students in reading and phonics. It has been my privilege to teach English to sixth through ninth grade as well as teaching some middle school history classes, journalism and many types of writing classes to students of many age ranges. Preparing high school students for the writing section of the SAT has been one of favorite assignments. Teaching in public and private schools plus teaching classes to home school students is part of my history. I have tutored students in private homes, school and library settings. I truly enjoy teaching/tutoring my students. My goal is for each student to improve their academic skills and know that they have made progress and are successful. Making learning interesting and fun is a challenge I love to tackle.
