I hold a Bachelor in Music, with musicology as my major, and Orchestral conducting as my minor, over 14 years as a musician, 4 years of professional classical educational experience and a Steinway and Sons Educational Partner Certification. Thus, in September 20 I will be certified as a Suzuki Teacher. During my student life as an orchestral conducting alumni, I not only received classes form prestigious cuban masters(Guido Lopez Gavilan, Maria Elena Mendiola, Jorge Lopez Marin), but worked as conductor as well. I was one of the director and creators of the Jose Marti Youth Symphonic, one organization that involved students of high school into the knowledge and practice of the classical and contemporary repertoire.Also, as a guitarist, I involved not only on the classical aspect, but into the wonderful world of the popular music.And still, I keep learning, and even from you, dear student, because every day is a learning day. But that’s my passion: music, working with kids and teens,playing at different venues in different cities, trying to change the society for better through music. What's yours???
