Education
I graduated from the Florida International University Honors College Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor's Degree in English (After taking 151 credits in 3 1/2 years). I'm currently pursuing a Master's Degree in Literature at FIU, and will be graduating this December. I intend to pursue a PhD afterwards.
Experience
I'm currently an Adjunct Professor at Florida International University, where I'm teaching two English Composition I courses. Prior to that I was a Teaching Assistant at FIU, where I taught my own English Composition I course and assisted a professor in a second. I've taken several education courses, have observed at high schools, and have passed a Dade County teacher background check. As an educator, I work closely with my students and do my best to ensure that they understand the underlying concepts before they try to grasp more difficult ideas. Tutoring offers me an opportunity to focus my attention entirely on a single student and help them to succeed.
Availability
Weekends at any time, Tues/Thurs after 11AM, Friday after 6PM

Up to 20 minutes away for no additional charge, Up to 1 hour away at my regular hourly rate

- Travel (I've been to Hungary, Slovakia, Italy, France, the UK, and Spain) - Reading (I have a library of over 800 books) - Museums (I've been to the Guggenheim, Louvre, British Museum, Uffizi Gallery, Vatican Museum, Reina Sofia, and many, many more) - Musicals/Theatre - History (I have a deep love of learning, and while I don't hold any degrees in history, I've learned a great deal from my own personal studies)
