After-school Care Counselor at YMCA of Greater Miami As an after school care counselor, I supervised a group of up to 25 children daily while planning and implementing activities for the children involved in the YMCA program. I assisted each student with their homework, sometimes incorporating what I have learned in my own studies. I also trained to be a site director. Teacher's Assistant at Academy of Excellence As a teacher's assistant, I planned, prepared and delivered instructional activities that facilitated active learning experiences. I also established and communicated clear objectives for all learning activities and provided a variety of learning materials and resources for use in educational activities.
