Experience
I have been an English as Second Language teacher for the last four and a half years. Since 2011 I have been employed with inlingua, which is one of the world's leading language training organizations with 345 Centers in 44 countries across Europe, Africa, Asia, North and South America. I have delivered teaching materials and lesson plans based on international standards of class delivery and instruction. I work directly with both corporate and public clients in assisting with acquisition of new language skills. I have taught both private and group classes to teenagers and adults at varying levels from beginners to advanced learners. In high school I took a variety of AP classes. My favorite subject was Art History. I scored a 5 on my AP Art History exam and then proceeded to major in Art History at the University of Florida. Therefore, with my wealth of knowledge I also offer Art History tutoring services. I love tutoring because working one-on-one with students is what I enjoy most. It is very gratifying to see how quickly students can progress in private classes and being able to give the student your full attention makes a huge difference. I pride myself on being an exceptionally patient teacher and having worked with students from all over the world I am particularly attuned to the various cultural customs and values that can impact the class room environment and how to modify classes to suit the needs of the students.

My passions are traveling, cooking, art, reading and writing. In my free time I love to cook healthy and delicious meals. I love traveling to different countries and learning different languages. I am fluent in spanish. I love education and teaching is great fun for me. I am passionate about helping others which is why I love education. I served a term in Americorps after I completed college. In my year of service I received in depth leadership development training and worked with at-risk youth in my community.
