I am Florida International University graduate. With a Bachelors in Statistics and a Masters in Finance. during my academic career I working in the math lab. For over 4 years I help increase the pass rate for students like you. I help with homework, quizzes, test prep, and projects. My main focus when tutoring is to get the students to aquire problem solving skills. This skill is the most important, by helping the student adapt his/her knowledge to any problem in any subject. Being able to decipher a word problem can be daunting task, however if you know what information to extract and the type of answer to expect solving word problems can be simpler. I can help increase your performance and quickness when solving math problems. My goal as a tutor is to increase your knowledge base, teach you some tricks of the trade, show alternative methods, and most importantly increase your confidence in math.
