As a result of my own experiences as a student, I've come to understand the importance of the relationship between an educator and their students, especially when it comes to student success. A person's experience in school will influence them in many ways and shape their future success. As a tutor, I also act as a mentor and resource for students, supplying them with support and guidance. I like to encourage critical thinking, focus the students' interest, and help them build better learning skills. My tutoring history began when I started helping fellow students prepare for tests in my youth. I've been tutoring professionally, however, for three years. Being a tutor is more than helping students with homework and exams, it's also about helping students live up to a lot of different kinds of challenges, in both their study and in their lives. Because I've worked in a lot of different kinds of settings, I've obtained a lot of helpful abilities as an educator. I work well to communicate with a wide range of people, and I can mediate and respond to complex behavioral issues. I have a wide arsenal of teaching techniques that I employ to reflect a diversity of learning styles. I tutor in the areas of Algebra, Geometry, Biology, Chemistry, and Spanish, to name a few. I love to teach and study medicine. I'm also into sports and dancing.
