I'm a native of Columbia and enjoy sharing my heritage and culture with my students. I started tutoring as a way to help students develop a love of learning, work through difficult subject matter, and obtain their academic goals.My desire to become a tutor stems from my personal experience with instructors throughout my academic career. Witnessing their dedication and passion for a subject helped me develop an interest and love of the subjects. I especially enjoy tutoring Math because of all the different ways a problem can be solved. I help students identify a method of problem-solving that works best for their individual learning style. I also enjoy sharing my love for Languages and my French traveling experiences with my students. While I specialize in complex Math subjects, including Algebra, Calculus, and Trigonometry, I also tutor in many other areas, including French, Spanish, Reading, and SAT and ACT Test Preparation.I'm currently pursuing a degree in Romance Languages at Washington University, and plan to attend medical school.In my free time, I enjoy playing tennis and lacrosse, running, watching movies and reading books (especially Harry Potter since I'm a big fan of the series), and learning more about languages.
