I graduated from Florida International University in 2013 as an English major. I chose to study English because I am fascinated by Literature and would like to become an author someday. I would probably write children's stories. I also took a few Education courses which were a lot of fun and introduced me to the world of education.
Experience
I want to become a tutor because I would like to become a teacher soon. I highly enjoy helping students and seeing them grow. About two years ago, I tutored a spanish speaker who needed help with homework assignments. It was rewarding to watch him flourish and become proud of himself when he received better grades. I want to continue to impact others in the same way.

I am passionate about music and theatre. I took voice and acting lessons at a young age and was enrolled in chorus during middle and high school. I like to get lost in a good book, and I enjoy writing lyrics and stories. I also enjoy traveling to foreign countries and tropical islands. And of course, I love playing with my intelligent dog.
