Currently attending Florida International University in pursuit of a Bachelors in Science in Mathematics. I have a 3.1 GPA and am in my second year.
Experience
I had my first experience tutoring when I was in high school at the schools math club. There I would tutor lower level mathematics students and help them raise their grades, while also tutoring the students that wanted to attend the math olympiads which I had taken part of previously. I want to be a tutor now because I really enjoyed my time teaching and I love what I'm learning. I've realized since then that I have a passion for mathematics and teaching others that which I'm passionate about is extremely fulfilling. As for my qualifications, every subject I have listed I have taken the appropriate classes for and passed with an A- or above. I feel like I understand the material profoundly enough that I would be able to clearly and succinctly explain to a student how to intuitively understand, solve, and apply the principles.
