In Switzerland I helped children to improve their language skills in German or assist with their homework. Over the course of the last five years I have taught numerous people the German language. Some only need a little guidance to have a more pleasant traveling experience to Germany. Others keep on coming back to master fluent conversation and writing. I grew up in the German speaking part of Switzerland, close to Zurich. I was exposed to the language throughout my entire schooling years. In my professional life as a doctor's assistant and later CEO administrative assistant I needed to communicate daily in the German and English language. I studied business for three years and finished with honors.
Experience
Tutoring is something I'm passionate about. To provide an atmosphere that will facilitate an ongoing level of improvement in my students' speaking proficiency, and you'll see this by the way I teach is my goal. I am flexible with my time and adapt easily to my students' needs. First I get familiar with your expectations. Secondly I recommend an approach that fits you. Thirdly I want you to have fun and learn in an interactive way. I love to interact with peoples. Communication is an integral part for humans to get along harmoniously. In my spare time I love staying healthy and keeping my neurons active with visits to museums, good music, and cultural activities. I love gardening, and enjoying my family. I enjoy my time outside especially up in the Swiss or Austrian mountains with either hiking or skiing. I like to be creative in glass fusing and pottering.
