Experience

Thanks to my more than a decade of tutoring, I am very capable and qualified for the job of helping students understand culture and history or learn a new language. The subjects I can tutor include Reading, Writing, Essay Editing, Literature, Grammar and Mechanics, College Essays, European and U.S. History, Spanish, Social Sciences, various AP courses, Graduate Test Prep, ACT English, ACT, ACT Writing, SAT Subject Tests, and many more.I earned a bachelor's degree in Philosophy at Florida International University and am pursuing a post-graduate degree in Philosophy at the University of Miami. I was very proud when Georgetown University, Washington, D.C., named me a James Madison Cuban Fellow in 2012. The annual award is given to the top secondary school teachers of Social Studies in the nation. I was also very proud to deliver a paper on the topic of philosophy and crisis the following year at the World Philosophy Congress, Athens. In my leisure time, I like to listen to music, travel, discuss current events, and meet new people.
