I have extensive tutoring experience. I'm available to tutor algebra, elementary math, middle school math, anatomy, biology, chemistry, microbiology, physiology, nutrition, geometry, and a variety of other math and science courses. I'm also available to help students prepare for their standardized exams. I received my degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from Florida International University. I'm now pursuing my degree in Nursing. I'm excited to go into nursing because I love helping people, and that's why I enjoy tutoring so much. I've worked with students as a biology, algebra, and chemistry tutor for over four years now. I also served as a Corps Member for an education-oriented, nonprofit organization called City Year. As a Corps Member I had the privilege of mentoring several middle school students. I highly value education, and I believe that getting an education can have a major impact on your life and the community around you. I believe that with perseverance and hard work, any student can succeed academically. I look forward to helping students reach their fullest potential. When I'm not studying or tutoring I enjoy baking and reading good books. I'm a very active person, and I try to run as much as I can.
