I grew up with the aspiration of wanting to teach elementary school. I attended Richard R. Green High School of Teaching in New York which provided me with an internship in a local elementary school throughout the four years. Once I started college, I became fascinated with psychology and this became my major. I attended Mercy College and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a B.A in Behavioral Science, which is combining psychology and sociology in one major. Since I always wanted to work with children and make a difference, shortly after graduating, I became a case manager for a foster care agency. I worked professionally in reunification and then preventive services for two years. I also tutored children from Pre k-8th grade in various subjects and provided both at home tutoring and after school group tutoring in the Police Athletic League in New York. I believe this provides me with the unique experience to tutor your child. From all of my personal and professional experiences, I've come to realize that education is the key to building character, ambition, success, and positive change.
