University of Florida - BS, Mathematics

I am a tutor with extensive experience tutoring students in a variety of subject areas. I'm available to tutor students in algebra, pre-calculus, calculus, statistics, computer science, Java, Spanish, arithmetic, geometry, middle school math, trigonometry, and a multitude of other subjects. I can also help students who are preparing for standardized exams like the SAT. I've been tutoring since I was in high school, and I've continued to work with students since then. I truly love to help others overcome their academic obstacles. As an undergraduate student I tutored algebra, calculus, programming, and statistics courses. I've worked with high school students in Spain and helped them prepare for standardized tests. As a tutor I present complicated concepts from a new, simplified perspective to help students grasp the material. I am an enthusiastic tutor and I work to create an environment that my students feel comfortable engaging in. I want my students to develop an interest in the subject material as I've found this makes it easier for them to learn. In my spare time I enjoy playing the guitar, working out at the gym, and computer programming.
