Education
I graduated in 2010 with dual bachelor degrees in Biology and Psychology and 2012 with a Masters in Public Health with a specialization in Environmental & Occupational Health. I am currently a PhD student studying under the same concentration with a minor in cognitive neuroscience. My research interests are investigating the roles of environmental endocrine disrupting chemicals and their links to metabolic syndrome. Once I am done with my PhD I intend to matriculate into medical school and hopefully become a practicing MD/PhD surgeon.
Experience
I want to become a tutor because I want to be able to help and further a student's knowledge in order for them to become successful in their academic endeavors. Knowing from personal experience I always had good mentors, professors, and tutors who have helped to shape the individual I have become and I would love to pass that experience onto future students. I do have experience tutoring dating back from my years in college in which I tutored in an underprivileged area as well as working for a tutoring service down here called Tutor Doctor part time.
