My passion for teaching comes from my love of consistently challenging, nurturing, inspiring and supporting each child’s individual growth and development. Fostering children's innate love of learning and making their introduction to education a joyful and purposeful start to a journey of lifelong learning. My tutoring experience began 10 years ago as a high school student. I tutored various age groups ranging from 6-12 years old in all subjects. My approach to teaching is a hands on tactile approach and my goal is for children to have a firm grasp on what they are learning as well as having a good time doing so. I approach each child as an individual and develop different teaching methods as each child is unique and all have different learning styles. I became a Montessori kindergarten teacher assistant from 2009-2011, eventually transitioning to the Art History teacher and the school director from 2011-2013. I also ran a daily after school art/cooking program and summer camp programs over the summers. I am a certified Florida Child Care Professional and also CPR and First Aid certified.
