Earned my Bachelor of Arts in English from FIU with honors in 2013. I also hold a Temporary Florida Teaching Certificate that is valid until 2016.
Experience
I have an extensive amount of experience tutoring. I worked as a writing lab tutor for Miami Dade College's Writing Center for 4 years. In my employment with MDC, I taught a series of writing workshops and presentations. I currently work as a Copywriter for a marketing firm. For the last 6 years, I have been dedicated in strengthening my own writing abilities. I am currently in the process of submitting my own poetry to literary magazines for publication. Writing has been my passion since I was a child. As a tutor, I love seeing a student learn and progress. It's fulfilling to see how my passion helps others succeed. Teaching comes naturally to me. I understand every student has their own learning style and I make sure to cater to that particular style. Creative writing and poetry is another strength of mine. I have been recognized for my excellent critique and feedback abilities from numerous professors and fellow writers. I always keep up with the craft of writing by constantly studying new techniques and tactics. It would be my pleasure to help you improve your writing.
