Education
I graduated with honors in high school from Parkway Central High in St. Louis, MO with a 4.6 GPA in 2009, and graduated from the University of Miami with a B.S. in biology with a 3.9 GPA in 2013.
Experience
I have been tutoring for 14 years now and am well versed in all subjects from grades K-8. I am especially qualified in teaching math and ACT test prep as I achieved a composite score of 36 on my ACT (36-math; 35-english; 36-science; 36-reading) when I took it in 2008. I was the TA for many of my teachers, as I started at the young age of 9 teaching kindergarteners how to read and write. As I progressed through my own education, I helped teachers tutor after school at least 3 times a week to 6th graders and many of my own peers. In high school, I was extremely involved in school activities, and being especially driven by my passion for helping others, I continued to assist my teachers, including tutoring during my office hours, and volunteering my time to tutor after school. I was inducted in the National Honors Society, National Math Honors Society, National Science Honors Society by age 16, and graduated in the top 5% of my class by the end of my senior year of high school.
