I have a BA in Anthropology from Stony Brook University. I’m currently taking post-baccalaureate classes at Florida International University in Miami, and I’m loving it.
Experience
I’ve gotten an “A” in every single one of my courses at FIU, and I know the material inside out. More importantly, I am a good teacher. I really enjoy helping people understand the Universe better through the sciences. While I have a very good grasp of the material in these courses, I don’t claim to know “everything.” Nobody (not even your professor) knows everything about everything. When I don’t know the answer to a question, I’m not going to give you a BS answer (like many tutors do) just to seem “smart.” If I don’t know something, I’ll do some research and find out the answer. This attitude of accepting my limitations and actively seeking out the Truths of Existence is what has allowed me to get A’s in all of my classes, and it is one of the things that has helped my students get A’s in their classes as well.
