I'm a tutor who is based out of Miami, Florida, where I enjoy reading, writing, and traveling when I'm not in the classroom working with students. I have my bachelor's degree in sociology from the University of Chicago, as well as my masters in political science and government from the University of Chicago. As a tutor, I'm able to provide lessons for students in a variety of math and science courses. I have 15 years of experience working in the field of education in a variety of capacities. My experience as a tutor dates back to my time in high school, and has continued on since then. After graduating with my master's degree, I returned to my hometown, Miami, to work as a math interventionist, parent counselor, and private tutor. I currently work with students from grades K - 12. I've also spent time helping college students complete weekly and term assignments. I strive to provide individualized lesson plans for each of my students. These lessons focus on the student's specific areas of weakness and provide targeted exercises to help overcome those problem areas. I'd love to use the skills I've spent my career developing to help you get the most out of your education.
