Experience
I have experience teaching and tutoring students of all ages, since 2004. I also have my Bachelor of Arts degree in Fashion Merchandising from Florida State University. Additionally, I have experience tutoring one-on-one for the YWCA and America Reads. I helped students in writing, reading, and English. My extensive background does not stop there. I have been able to use my creative skills working at various parks in Miami, Florida as an Arts and Crafts Coordinator. Finally, I helped middle and high school students prepare for the FCAT and Common Core Exams and I have helped college peers with their writing difficulties. I believe my extensive background and experiences have given me a great skill set to share with students. My tutoring style includes getting to know each of my pupils on a personal level and creating lesson plans that cater to their needs. I believe in coming up with new and unique methods of teaching the same material, so as not to bore people. I am looking forward to helping students of all ages achieve their academic goals. When I am not teaching, you can find me listening to music and indulging in art projects.
