Hello, my name is Pratna. I have a Bachelors of Science in General Biology from FIU. I graduated with honors - Magna Cum Laude (3.78 overall & 3.8 science GPA). Currently, I am pursuing an Associates in Physical Therapist Assistant at Miami Dade Community College. I love the field of exercising and physical therapy, however I did not want to pursue my Doctorate just yet. I will somewhere down the line.
Experience
I have been teaching anatomy almost everyday to my fellow class mates in my current Physical Therapist Assistant program. And I have taught biology and general chemistry in the past. So I definitely help you with that. I have always been teaching anatomy or general biology 2 in some way or the other since 2012, whether it is free lance tutoring or helping students in my class. I absolutely love and have a lot of appreciation for the human body and its physiological functions. I find it quite fascinating to what extent our bodies can go just to protect us. The way I learn this subject is by making sense of most things (if I can) because every organ, tissue, cell in our body serves a purpose. I hope I am able to instill my love for this subject in you guys as well. I will bring my own textbooks apart from using yours. I am flexible when it comes to timing (except monday and wednesday when I have school). To me, teaching anatomy is just not only about making money but I want to be able to make people more aware of all the wonderful things our body can do. Since I am in the Physical Therapist Asst. program, my specialty is the musculoskeletal system.
