Hobbies

Hi there! Ted here, and I believe I am the one for you in terms of a reliable music teacher who can create a peaceful, fun, and encouraging learning environment for your students. I teach with a sense of passion, challenging my students to ensure their steady progress, yet at the same time, having plenty of patience with them as well. I treat each of my students differently because I understand that everyone is different with unique goals for their futures in music. I currently have 6 years of running my own production company as my full-time and I love to teach! I adore all genres of music and have been deeply involved in the songwriting, music production and DJ community throughout Miami, FL. I love to teach all age groups and have a laid-back, mindful, and fun attitude! I specialize in electronic production, intermediate guitar, piano, advanced drums, and beginner voice with a solid background in music theory and improvisation, and composition in classical style. I ensure my students' success with careful planning and staying well organized on their progress under my guidance. Theory like composition, chords, progression, melody, lyrics, rhythm, technique are all important aspects to learn in music. For beginners, I believe it is very important to make the lessons fun and low-pressure, because a lot of the foundation for becoming a musician takes a little time and can be a bit boring if the teacher isn't engaging the student. Once a student of mine is ready to start learning how to read music and learn how to play other songs, the real magic begins and this is where the fun starts as well! Many students may choose to begin their own careers and create original material. I love when this happens because their true creativity begins to shine forth, and all that hard work begins to pay off! Lastly, I have a passion for music that I take with me forever and working with creativity, positivity, and joy is an honor. I look forward to watching my students grow and maybe even surpass me! ;)
