Lawrence P.
Private tutor in Miami, FL
Education
BA in Economics from Florida International University, some additional studies in Sociology, Mathematics and Accounting
Experience
I've provided help to classmates in the related subject matter of economics and mathematics. I scored a 700 on the Mathematics portion of the SAT examination. I scored a 27 on the ACT examination. I earned a 5 on the AP Calculus A/B Exam and a 4 on the AP Physics C Exam. I'm very proficient at visual/spatial reasoning questions. Becoming a tutor is a great way to provide assistance to those who need a helping hand and to ensure their future success. I was a teaching intern at an elementary school in Miami during the Spring 2005 semester. I have worked in dealing with customers in retail for over 5 years. I try to diversify my approach so that as a tutor I will both make the most out of my service and also not bore my students.

Hobbies
I'm interested in basic mathematics and economics and finance and in the socio-economic welfare of people. I tend to look at the economic issues from a more generalized perspective, so as not to blame any one entity or aspect of society. I've spent a lot of time around people of different ethnicities and age groups, which enables me to connect with them and understand them well.
