Education

I graduated high school with International Baccalaureate certifications in Caracas, Venezuela in 2009. I moved to the US to successfully complete a Bachelor's of Arts and Sciences with a major in Biology and a minor in Chemistry at Barry University, graduating with a GPA of 3.4. I am currently doing a Master's degree in Biomedical Sciences in Barry University, with the hopes of getting into dental school.

Experience

I was a tutor throughout high school for primary school students and an Anatomy TA in Undergraduate school as well. In order to get into Barry University, I successfully completed the SAT and TOEFL exams with good test scores. Having a degree in the US entails not only having to take classes that pertain to your field of studies, so I consider myself a very rounded student, having experience in the Sciences and in the creative subjects as well. I want to be a tutor because, as it is necessary for my career choice, I have to and am still required to study a lot, so I understand the struggle of not understanding a certain subject and the frustration of having multiple people explain it without any results. Being a student, I know I can approach the student in many different ways in which they will understand and will be fun at the same time, because I have gone through it.

I am the middle child and am squished between two very energetic brothers, so I consider myself to be a very patient person. Having brother also taught me to have fun and get involved in sports, to be creative and learn how to be a team player. I am extremely persistent and will not give up until I reach my goal. I consider myself outgoing and will always be respectful first. I love working with children and am driven by the thought of helping people.
