I have been tutoring privately for the past few months and it has been quite an enjoyable experience! Working with students enough to see them comprehend and excel at their subject is a rewarding experience beyond any of my expectations. I want to continue expanding my tutoring experiences in order to not only expand my own knowledge but to foster better study habits, techniques, and new perspectives on learning in my students. Tutoring is a powerful tool for both the student and mentor. Mathematics is my forte having taken all Algebras, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, Trigonometry, Calculus I & II, Multivariable Calculus, and Differential Equations. I have done well in classes involving General Psychology, Childhood and Developmental Psychology, General Biology, Environmental Studies, AutoCAD, Mathcad, Excel, Physics I & II, Introduction to Statistics, Chemistry I & II, Technical and Professional Writing, and English. Spanish is my native language and I speak both English and Spanish fluently. I have taken Spanish 1-4 and AP Spanish. I also have over 500 intern hours on record with a non-profit organization, Urban Paradise Guild, whose goal is to restore existing native Florida ecosystems and foster a new culture in Miami that focuses on urban agriculture.

Outside of school I consider myself to be a student of the arts. I play guitar, hand-percussion, a bit of piano, and look forward to attending live performances whenever the opportunity arises. I thoroughly enjoy the expression of creativity and encourage others to embrace their creative nature because it is an essential aspect of human conscience. I hope to one day be part of a society that fosters collaboration and appreciates our environment more. The earth is a our home and we must take care of our home, without her we cannot survive!
