I love to teach, and I'm driven to help students succeed. I studied psychology in college, and I gained my first teaching experience in the field. I also taught disabled students individually, which led me to pursue a career as a learning support teacher. In this position, I had the opportunity to teach students writing, reading, curriculum support, phonics, and IB level psychology courses. I also was able to work with students studying Spanish and ESL students. I utilize a student focused approach when I tutor. I modify my teaching style to match the learning style of my student, and I utilize patience to go at the student's pace. When I have free time, I enjoy reading and arts and crafts.
