Victoria D.
Private tutor in Miami, FL
Education
I participated in a dual enrollment program during my last two years of high school, which allowed me to graduate with an Associate in Arts degree at the same time that I earned my high school diploma. Upon graduation, I continued on to purse a Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics from Florida International University. I will be graduating this December, and attending graduate school in January.
Experience
I started tutoring at Florida International University when one of my professors, who was also the Chair of the Mathematics Department, recommended me for a position after I did well in his course. I tutored differential equations for a semester and went on to tutor different subjects the following semester. I now tutor finite math, college algebra, pre-calculus, and trigonometry at the university.

Hobbies
I love anything that has to do with being outdoors. Kayaking, hiking, walking, swimming, and bike riding are some of the most enjoyable activities for me. I am planning on hiking part of the Appalachian trail in May, which is super exciting for me. I have been backpacking in the past, but I have never been out for a week or longer.
