I tutored all throughout high school and college and for a little while after college before I started my career. I studied Science Education for a year of my college career as well. During that time, I was tutoring, as well as participating in courses that required volunteer hours at local elementary and middle schools so I have a lot of first-hand experience with teaching and mentoring children from a variety of different age groups. I am particularly skilled at dramatically improving non-native Spanish speakers grades in Spanish at any level. I have been there before, and learned the language exactly as they are now. I have also been quite successful in improving grades in mathematics and writing.

Hobbies

I enjoy swimming very much and sports in general. I currently work in Interior Design, so that is definitely a passion of mine as well. My skill set is very diverse which I think is what makes me such a good educator, especially for children studying a broad range of subjects. My ideal situation would be to have one student to grow and mentor in all subjects due to my availability. I am really starting to tutor again because I found it very rewarding and I like growing and helping kids feel more confident academically. It is not so hard once they have someone who cares and can teach them from their perspective.
