I graduated with honors with a BS in Nursing from California State University San Marcos. Someday, I hope to return to school to earn a Nurse Practitioner degree in Education/Research and a certification in music therapy. I was born in Lima, Peru, where I grew up in a family that valued education. My experience in tutoring comes from a variety of sources. For example, my work in a hospital often requires me to explain complex subjects to patients in order to help them to understand their condition and how they need to participate in their own care. I have worked with both children and adults. My approach to tutoring involves patience, fun, and connecting the subject matter to real life situations. We will learn from each other as we make progress in the subject area, and I will ensure that you feel comfortable and confident before we move to the next level. I can work with students in these areas: Biology, Physical Sciences, Microbiology, Public Speaking, Study, Spanish and English at full proficiency, and beginners French. Outside of academics, I enjoy singing. I often record songs and edit simple music videos. I have been learning how to cook Peruvian food, and started a ketogenic way of eating.
