| Experience: | In high school, I participated in a program called GENaustin, where we would mentor girls at our local middle schools every Friday. GEN stands for Girl Empowerment Network, so we were there for them and taught lessons about self-esteem and being a positive contributor to society.
I also volunteered at Laguna Gloria School of Art in Austin, Texas being a teaching assistant to a second grade art class. I love dealing with children in elementary school (although it could be difficult at times), and the experience very rewarding.
I want to be a tutor because I learned at a young age that being a good student and advancing your education is one of the most important things a child can do to promote their future. I do want to become a teacher one day. I am currently studying Japanese to apply for a year teaching English abroad in Japan.
I am extremely organized. I like to have fun, but I am also very disciplined. I graduated from the Honors Program at the University of Miami with an A average. I also have taken architecture courses abroad in Spain, France, Italy, Greece, Croatia, Japan, China, Switzerland, and a semester in Rome. |
| Hobbies: | I'm a very active person. I love all aspects of design, whether it is sketching, painting, doing sculpture, visiting museums, traveling to other places in the world and learning about how culture affects their designs and cities. I have a passion for tea |
